I was asked by one of those London agencies to create a concept for the redesign of broadcaster, author & gardener Alan Titchmarsh's web site.

The basis of this concept was to show the range of Alan Tichmarsh's works as much more then just a gardener, and to convey his mild-mannered character through the use of positive and uplifting typography, space and colour

For those of you who are not from these shores and because I am not sure how international the Alan Titchmarsh brand reaches. Alan is very much a house hold name in Britain and is probably most famous for his Gardening shows such as Ground force. He always comes across as a likable and inoffensive guy, but my impression of him grew when during his chat show he threw out guest John McCririck for being the misogynistic arse that he is.
