Using a 120mm film on century-old cameras, I captured images that reveal the beauty of standing still and gazing out to sea, showcasing the simplicity of the geometry and the serenity.
As someone who has always been fascinated with the sea, I have recently become more interested in exploring my pagan heritage and its connection to the ocean. This exploration has been further enhanced by my more recent family heritage, which also has strong ties to the sea. Through this pursuit, I have discovered a deep fascination with the sea that seems to be rooted in my subconscious. It is this fascination that has drawn me to photographing the simple geometry and tranquility of standing and staring at the sea, using vintage cameras and well-expired film to capture the raw and authentic essence of the medium.
