Temporary stone formations, meticulously constructed through mindfulness, with a focus on the interplay of the stones and their harmonious integration into their natural surroundings.
Years ago, I stumbled upon the album cover of the band Japanese percusion band Kodo, which featured a simple stone. Since then, the image has stayed with me, inspiring my artistic expression through photographs of wet river stones, carefully balanced. These stacks serve as a tribute to the mystical energy of the river, a reflection of my deep reverence for the natural world. While I indulge in this passion, I always take great care to dismantle the stones before leaving, ensuring the delicate balance and harmony of the river's spirits remains undisturbed.
