As a child, I vividly recall watching wrestling on the modest television set in my grandmother's cottage in Devon, England during a visit from our home in Botswana. Despite being struck by the ostensible artificiality and theatricality of the spectacle, my grandmother remained enamored with it. With the passage of time, I have since pondered on how living a performative existence can deeply impact one's sense of self, both inwards and outwards.and ultimetly happiness
