Subconscious landscapes to a predefined formula and made without touching the piece past the initial application of the foundation water and the final signature. All made with Indian ink, water a hair dryer a piece of cotton and gold paint.
These are all paintings of an internal landscape, one that has no reference to the geography of the external world. The manufacturing process of not touching the canvas is an attempt to get the ego to step out of the way. They are tempestuous and mysterious. The gold line is a visual and metaphorical balancing force, a ray of hope, defiance and self worth.
